Plants in Bloom: May Flowers

June 1, 2014

The weather here in the Pacific Northwest has been fantastic so far this spring.  We’ve had an abundance of sun so far this May!  We’ve been strolling through local nurseries, gardens and our old files looking for blooming inspiration.

There are an overwhelming amount of plants flowering in May around Seattle.  Everything from Azaleas and Clematis to Weigela and Wisteria.

Kryssie and Heidi made some great finds while out in the field this month when they spotted a Chilean fire bush and a super cool Viburnum.

Check out our gallery of eye catching and unusual blooms in May…

We’d love to hear your comments on some of your favorite blooming plants this time of year!
